Muslimfest 2012
At Muslimfest 2012, to be held next week (Sep 1-2) at Celebration Square, Mississauga, Ontario, I will be participating in a story telling exhibit with work from this blog. Using Lego pieces to build scenes of stories from the Quran, I will be displaying and relating stories for children and adults alike to enjoy.
King Abraha marches on the Kaaba with an army of elephants
The People of the Cave are arrested for their faith in Allah
Managing to escape, the People of the Cave hide in a cave where they fall asleep for 3 centuries
Trying to purchase some food with a silver coin that was centuries old, the People of the Cave are found out
If you are in town, do visit and say hi (or salaams!).

Vick and I came by but it was too late. We got back Sunday evening and went to ask if you were there but one of the volunteers in the art section said you had packed up. Wish we could have seen it but it’s okay, your blog is fantastic, hope you had a good audience at Muslim fest!
